FLEX: Michelle’s Menagerie

Michelle DeBye, a wildlife educator who runs Michelle’s Menagerie, visited the FLEX Program and presented a “Desert Animals” program. To help her explain some of the ways creatures adapt to the harsh desert environment, find food, and protect themselves from becoming food, DeBye’s live helpers included an African dove, leopard gecko, bearded dragon, flame knee tarantula, tenrec, tortoise, fennec fox, and rosy boa.
