Grade 3 Biography Fair '08

Third Graders each selected an influential or famous person, living or dead, and read a biography about him or her.  Reading and writing activities followed in class, and the unit culminated with a biography fair, attended by parents, at which students dressed as their subjects and presented simulated diary entries and articles. Students chose such subjects as George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, Tom Brady, Amelia Earhart, Eleanor Roosevelt,  Harry Houdini, Albert Einstein, Ann Frank, Sacajawea, Annie Oakley, and many others. The Fair concluded with a group song.
