Middle School Spring Concert '08

Mrs. Taylor's Middle School Concert, though duckless, provided plenty of enjoyment to all animal-song lovers in the packed house. To the accompaniment of a student orchestra comprising a flute, six guitars, a bass guitar, a piano, an ocarina, drums, three violins, and the occasional triangle and slide-whistle, Middle Schoolers sang tributes to cows, gnus, cats, birds, wolves, caterpillars, hippos, and various sea creatures. Many of the songs also featured dance numbers.

Listen to a rendition of "At the Codfish Ball" (Mitchell, Pollack, and Leazer).

Hear a performance of "Gus: The Theater Cat" (Eliot and Webber).

Thrill to the strains of "I Hear You Knockin'" (Bartholomew and King).
