Grade 8 Reading with Lower School

Building community is an important goal of the Eighth Grade Advisor Program, and the process progresses in ever-widening interactions, from homeroom to grade level to division level to the entire school.

To that end, a friendship of readers is established between Eighth Graders and Lower School students. Meeting at least three times throughout the year, they spend time reading to each other or participating in other group activities (see also Grade 8 Making Holiday Cards with Lower School).
