Mitali Perkins Visit '08

Author Mitali Perkins treated Middle and Upper School students to a humorous, informative assembly presentation about growing up between cultures, and shared tips about creating a strong sense of place at writing workshops with 5th and 7th grade students. She also shared personal stories and answered questions during informal luncheons with members of Readers Circle, Verbatim, and the Middle and Upper School Affinity groups. Students lingered after school on Wednesday to chat and have books signed. Ask your children about the three things they should remember about Mrs. Perkins.
