Grade 8 Making Holiday Cards with Lower School

As part of Pike's Eighth Grade Advisor Program, building community throughout the school is a priority (see Grade 8 Reading with Lower School). This December, Eighth Graders worked with Lower Schoolers to create personalized holiday cards for all 40+ residents of the Alzheimer's/dementia wing of the Life Care Center of Merrimac Valley.

On Saturday, December 15, during a holiday party at the home attended by residents and their families, Upper School English Department Head Amy Salvatore and her daughter distributed the cards and witnessed the delight and heartfelt joy of the recipients.
