Grade 3 Non Sibi Solum

Third Grade students discussed the meaning of Pike's mission statement and then chose to illustrate an aspect of the mission with which they connected, First, they drew designs in their sketchbooks and then transferred their designs onto 6" x 6" canvases using tempera paint. Students completed the project by writing reflections on what they learned about the mission statement and how they contribute to the Pike community.
