Dear Pike Families,
As we all look yearningly toward the summer months of warmth and sun, we are happy to offer CLUB PIKE again this year following the close of school. In my seventh year as camp director, I am more excited than ever. The Club will be staffed by Pike faculty members, including teachers from Pike’s intern program. Club Pike is open to children currently enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten through fourth grade at The Pike School.
Session I: Thursday, June 12 & Friday, June 13
While on campus, the children will participate in structured and unstructured games and activities, engage in arts and crafts projects, and get lots of exercise and attention. Weather permitting, we also will spend time each afternoon running through the sprinklers and enjoying the warm, summer days. It will be a wonderful opportunity for the children to relax and get into that summer frame of mind.
Session II: Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20
The theme for the second session will be Day Trippers. This program gives the children the opportunity to visit a variety of institutions and locales. Past trips have included expeditions to Kids’ Playground, The Ecotarium, the Andover Fire Station, The Stone Zoo, The Franklin Park Zoo, the Andover Police Station, Fenway Park, and Stoneyfield Dairy. We are planing on taking two or three trips during this week.
While on campus, the children will play games, engage in arts and crafts projects, and get lots of exercise and attention. Structured activities will be intermingled with free play. We also will spend time each afternoon, weather permitting, running through the sprinklers and enjoying the warm, summer days.
The cost for Club Pike is $180 for Session I, $450 for Session II, or $540 for both sessions. Daily snacks and drinks are provided, but children must bring their own clearly labeled bag lunches. A bathing suit and a towel help to make sprinkler time more enjoyable. The Club day runs from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Extended day is available daily from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at an additional cost of $20 per day.

All places will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. All forms and fees must be received by Friday, May 16th. Applications will not be accepted without payment. You may return the application and medical consent forms directly to me, or you may drop them at the front desk.
