| Section 1 |
The Association shall have a Board consisting of not more than seventeen (17) members. |
| Section 2 |
Five members of the Board shall be elected as officers. At least three members shall be elected as Coordinators. The remaining members shall be elected at the Boards, discretion. |
| Section 3 |
A past President or Vice President of the Board may serve as an advisor to the Board at the request of the incoming President. |

Officers and Coordinators |
| Section 4 |
The officers shall consist of a (1) President, (2) Vice-President, (3) Secretary, (4) the Treasurer and (5) the Communications Director. |
| Section 5 |
The President shall be the executive officer of the Association and shall preside at all meetings of the Association and of the Board. |
| Section 6 |
The Vice-President, in the absence of the President, shall perform the duties of the President and such other duties as may be delegated by the President. |
| Section 7 |
The Secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings of the Association and the Board for the Board’s approval. After they are approved at the next Board meeting, they will be available to the Pike community. |
| Section 8 |
The Treasurer shall have custody of all monies of the Association and is responsible for coordinating budget information. |
| Section 9 |
The Communications Director shall publish activity reminders, and notices and maintain an Archive Book with reports on past activities and the board minutes. |
| Section 10 |
The Coordinators shall act as a liaison between the faculty and the parents within his/her division and as coordinator of the class parents within his/her division. There shall be at least one each Coordinator of the Lower, the Middle and the Upper Divisions. |
| Section 11 |
In the event of any vacancy in any position of the Board for any cause and during the term thereof, the vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term by appointment by the Board. |
| Section 12 |
The incoming President of the Board will solicit volunteers to fill any vacancies of the Board for the next school year prior to the transition meeting of the Board at the end of the present school year. |
| Section 13 |
A member of the Board may serve no more than three consecutive years on the Board, with the following exceptions: |

(a) After three consecutive years of service on the Board, a member may rejoin the Board, after a hiatus of at least one year. |

(b) If a member has served on the Board for three consecutive years and that member has been nominated and wishes to accept the position of President, that member may do so but for only a one-term year. |
