Internet Safety provides tips for helping your children stay as safe as possible when they're connected to the Internet. Helping Kids Read shares short, informative articles about various aspects of reading and young children at a time when your child is experiencing the exciting adventure of learning to read. You can find research help, online encyclopedias, and other links at the Pike Library web site. If you'd like Internet-based activities that you can do with your children, you'll find our suggestions in Web Gems. You can also link to the Parent to Parent Web site, an organization that has served hundreds of parents over the years with helpful and informative talks about parenting.
