Massachusetts captured the title of National Team Champion for the second year in a row. Team members include James Lin, McCall Middle School; Matthew Lipman, Meadowbrook School; Michael Ren, The Pike School; Alec Sun, Jonas Clarke Middle School; and coach Joshua Frost, from Jonas Clarke Middle School.

The Pike School held a parent forum Tuesday evening, October 16, to introduce a new five-year strategic plan for the school, a plan that has been in development for the past twelve months and has incorporated the input of parents, faculty and staff, administration, Trustees, alumni, and outside consultants. MATHCOUNTS, a national, mathematics competition for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, has awarded The Pike School with Gold Level Status in the 2012 MATHCOUNTS Club Program.

On Sunday, April 22, 2012, The Pike School will host a concert by jazz vocalist Dana Lauren from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in its Dahod Center for Community and Creative Learning. Admission is $20 (children under 16 free with paid adult), and all proceeds will benefit The Pike School.

For the seventh consecutive year, The Pike School has earned the School of Excellence Award for performance in speech events from the National Junior Forensics League at its 2011 National Middle School Forensics Tournament in Dallas, Texas.
