Step 1: Inquire

Step 2: Pike's Campus
We are happy to be hosting onsite campus tours beginning in mid-October. To schedule a tour, complete our inquiry form and a member from the Admission team will contact you. You can also explore The Pike School virtually.
Step 3: Apply for Admission
Once you submit your initial inquiry, you will receive instructions via email to create an account on our Admission Portal. From our Portal, you may work on your application, submit materials, check on your application's status, and get up-to-date admission information.
Please submit your child’s online application questionnaire by our January 15, 2024 deadline.
Please submit an application for each child with the $50 application fee. If you are unable to pay the application fee, please contact our office.
Please note: Late applications will only be considered if space is available.
International Applicants
The Pike School accepts international students to all grade levels; however, we no longer issue Form I-20 to new non-immigrant F-1 visa students. The Pike School does not offer an English Language Learner (ELL) program.
Are you interested in applying for Financial Aid? Learn more. Please submit Financial Aid applications no later than January 15, 2024.
Step 4: Virtual Parent/Guardian Meetings
We are eager to learn more about your family!
Please go to your Admission Portal to schedule your virtual Parent/Guardian Interview. To schedule an interview, you must first submit your application questionnaire and application fee.
Parent/guardian interviews will be conducted via Zoom to accommodate a wide range of schedules. Don't worry there are many opportunities to meet us in person!

Step 5: Complete Grade Appropriate Assessments & Visits
We hold individual and group assessments in December and January. During the assessment visits, children interact with teachers and engage in age-appropriate activities. An application questionnaire must be received prior to assessments. Our Admission team will coordinate the assessment dates with you.
Please Note: Pre-K and Kindergarten applicants will join us on-campus for an individual visit and a classroom visit day.
Step 6: Submit Supporting Documents
As we work to learn more about your child, there are supporting documents required to complete the application process. The deadline for receipt of these documents is February 1, 2024.
Submit Teacher Recommendations
- Teacher recommendation forms should be sent via email through our Admission Portal to the student's current teacher.
- This form should be completed by the student's teacher and uploaded directly to our Admission Portal. The email will contain instructions and a link to upload the form.
- When the teacher has submitted the form, you will be notified via email.
- All teacher recommendations are due by February 1, 2024.
Send the School Record Release Form
Give this form to the student's current school in December. It should be completed by the school registrar and submitted directly to Pike via email, fax or U.S. mail.
Accompanying transcripts should include the student's reports for the 2022-23 academic year and 2023-24 first term report. *All materials are due to Pike by February 1 2024.

Step 7: Admission Decision Notification
Admission decisions for The Pike School will be mailed on March 10, 2024.
Please note: Pre-K applicants with a completed application before February 1, 2024 will receive an early decision on February 1, 2024. For those Pre-K applicants still in process we will notify on March 10, 2024.

The admission process is designed to gather as much information as possible about each child to determine whether Pike will be a good match for their learning needs. Throughout the admission process, we learn about the candidate through a virtual parent/guardian interview, the teacher recommendation, school reports, and assessments. These assessments typically take place in December and January.
