Science

We’ve plucked some favorite activities from our science curriculum! Experience some hands on lab explorations that our Pike science students are currently investigating. You will use real world science lab tools and techniques to identify mystery objects! See how math and science combine in these in-depth explorations!

Drama

Join us to learn improv tricks and strategies - and then apply them in fun, acting games! No prior experience required - All skills levels are welcome!

Art

"Drawing in Space"
Students will learn the basics of observational contour drawing and then explore the interplay between two and three-dimensional "lines" as they create a wire sculpture based on their original two dimensional contour drawing.

Math

Math at Pike is all about exploring math and making visual connections to see how math is all around us each day. In this session, you will get a taste of what our pre-Algebra, algebra and geometry students do in their math classrooms. Come see what a graphing calculator can do on the iPad (it’s amazing!) and then explore math puzzles and challenges covering a variety of sample topics. Don’t be intimidated if you don’t think of yourself as a “math” person – at Pike, math is for everyone!

Music

Have you ever wanted to play in a rock band? This is your opportunity to experience firsthand what that would be like. Join us and try your hand at playing drums, keyboards, basses, or guitars in a rock ensemble!
