The Family School Partnership (FSP) is Pike’s hub for parent and family engagement.
All Pike parents and guardians are automatically members of the FSP.
Pike’s FSP is an entirely volunteer run organization that has a leadership team who serve year long terms.
The FSP also frequently calls for additional volunteers throughout the school year to support meetings, events and a wide variety of programming.

FSP Leadership Team members are guided by the following principles of good practice:
● actively support, promote, and reflect in their behavior the school’s mission, vision, strategic goals, and policy positions.
● take care to separate the interests of the school and the FSP from the specific needs of a particular child or constituency
● ascribe to a high level of confidentiality and circumspection regarding information shared by school’s head and administrative team
● demonstrate responsibility to support the school and its head and to demonstrate that support within the community
● direct questions, concerns and conflicts in a discreet and productive manner to the FSP staff liaison, head or administrative team, consulting with those best able to address them
● recognize the FSP and school leadership as a partnership in service of Pike’s goals and expectations for family engagement, philanthropic participation, and education
● work collaboratively to engage diverse voices, viewpoints, and resources to accomplish FSP goals
