After, a one year hiatus our annual Pike Fest is coming back this February 2022.
Please save the Date:
Friday, February 4, 2022
(Snow Date: Friday, February 11)
Pike Fest gives students the opportunity to engage with globally focused arts and cultural activities. Teachers/staff/families can use this opportunity to share their culture, heritage, and/or personal passion in a format that is innovative and engaging for students.
Workshops should have a clear cultural and/or global component, and they can be tied to any subject area: music, art, movement, math, science, literature, etc.
There are three ways you can contribute to Pike Fest:
- Lead a workshop
- Co-lead a workshop with another community member or teacher
- Volunteer to help out through the day ( A sign up sheet will be sent our closer to the event)
Faculty and staff will be participating in this event as well. They will contribute to the day's workshops and assist with programming, classroom coverage, and other support in the building.
If you know of a Pike alum who might be interested in leading a workshop this year, feel free to forward them this email or tell them to get in touch with us!
Sign up to lead or co-lead a workshop and make the day extra special for our students!
