On Sunday, May 2, The Pike School Speech Team participated in the Milton Foley Fiesta Virtual Speech Tournament. We had so many Pike competitors for this tournament that if we had been in person, we would’ve needed more than one school bus.
Our Speech Team students did an amazing job delivering their speeches and over half of them broke into the final round. Way to go!
A special thanks to our amazing Speech Team Pike Families—nine parent judges made the day possible. We couldn’t do it without their dedication to the Speech Team.
Last Sunday’s tournament marked the final traditional tournament of the season. Speech Team students can end their season on a fun note by joining the Fully Fling tournament on May 23 or competing in the National Speech and Debate Association’s Middle School Speech Challenge.
