The Pike School has been awarded the EcoSchools U.S. Green Flag by the National Wildlife Federation. This national honor recognizes our exceptional achievement in sustainability education and environmental action. This significant accomplishment was made possible by the tremendous teamwork and collaboration of our entire school community.

Pike students and faculty were praised by the National Wildlife Federation and EcoSchools U.S. who stated: “The National Wildlife Federation and EcoSchools U.S. are proud of the example set by The Pike School in MA." This award demonstrates not only a commitment to sustainability and environmental literacy for students and faculty but an appreciation that the best, most effective education transcends the classroom and offers a place-based, project-based approach to learning”.

Highlights include:

Teamwork for Social Good – Community clean-ups, eco audits, and waste reduction programs

Courageous Advocacy – Students taking initiative to drive meaningful change across campus.
